Leadership profile

Commercial roots.Technical depth.Global responsibility.

I am a marketing automation leader with two decades across commercial growth, marketing programmes and technology. Today I lead the people and operating model behind global campaign delivery.

That experience shapes my approach: understand the customer decision, make the work clear and give specialists the authority to improve it.

How I work

Stay close to the work. Be clear about the decision.

Technical knowledge helps me ask better questions. Leadership means deciding what matters and helping others take responsibility for it.

Start with the business problem

Agree what should improve for the customer or team before discussing a platform.

Ask what the evidence supports

Separate recorded results, estimates and future plans when making the case for change.

Give people a decision to own

Set clear boundaries, coach judgement and recognise the specialists doing the work.

Selected outcomes

Delivery and the effort behind it.

Globaldelivery responsibility

Service that teams can rely on

Led campaign operations across regions and suppliers, with strong delivery performance and positive stakeholder feedback. My remit covered the process, service quality and people behind the work.

~1/3lower estimated effort

One shared campaign workflow

Helped design a tool for briefing and review, with a colleague leading much of the product delivery. The effort model indicated more capacity for other work. This is an estimate, not a cash saving.

The effort reduction is rounded and modelled. It does not establish measured time savings or staffing changes.

Putting change into use

Adoption is part of the job.

A new method needs training, ownership and a reason for people to use it.

Shareddelivery model

A webinar programme put into practice

Built the case for change and established the process, training, ownership and platform connections. The work carried through to recurring delivery across teams.

Testedacross markets

Evidence for the next decision

Supported structured campaign experiments across markets. The focus was to give teams a basis for changing their approach, rather than treating one result as a universal rule.

Leading the next stage

Give teams more autonomy, with clear accountability.

01Make the trade offs explicit

Show how scope, cost, quality and timing affect the decision.

02Develop technical judgement

Give specialists space to test ideas, explain their choices and lead improvements.

03Earn the right to automate

Prove a bounded workflow before removing a check or expanding its authority.

04Keep reviewing the result

Use adoption, service quality and customer response to decide what changes next.
